Having grown up in a Christian home, I constantly heard about the gospel and the Bible.  I remember repeatedly hearing about how the Christian walk has to be personal for each believer, but it wasn’t until I was 13 that it really hit me and I came to know Him. I was at a point in my life where my personal family life was changing, unfortunately for the worse.  Although I was growing up hearing that salvation was personal, it wasn’t until this point that this truth impacted me.  Since that time, God has greatly spoken to my life.  There are still times where I feel like my spiritual growth in Christ is at a standstill; but I know that it is during these times that I need to really cling to Him and seek Him more.
