Having been raised in the church, it was at a very young age that I received Christ into my heart. However, it wasn't until I was in middle school that I began to understand that the Lord desires a personal relationship with me.  Until that point I had known about God, but after that I began to know Him. Since then the Lord has been revealing Himself to me little by little, and working in me to transform and cut away all the things that need to reflect Him and not me.
