I thank the Lord for the blessing He has given me to be able to say today that I have been saved by His amazing love and mercy. I was given the blessing of hearing His Word from a very young age and I thank God that He gave me a soft and understanding heart to hear it.  

I grew up knowing who He was and understanding what was shown to me, but over time I allowed myself to become stagnant in His Word and reached a point in my life where I can say now that I was at a spiritual low point. I still knew who He was, but began to make a ritual of going to church and reading His Word rather than having that desire to do so.

When I was 13, however, the Lord called me to go out on a missions trip. I was initially reluctant, but followed along in what I believed was "right".  On that trip, the Lord gave me such a revelation of who He was and how great is His power. I also understood that where I was spiritually was not where I needed to be. From that point in my life I can say gratefully that He has been my all and that He has kept me strong for Him by His great love.
