But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them. It is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”   Matthew 20:25-28

THE SPIRITUAL COVERING THAT OASIS MINISTRY CAN PROVIDE . . .

Throughout the years the Lord has been pleased to unite our hearts for the purpose of spiritual edification. Based on our relationship with one another in Him and based on His purpose for His Church, we can extend spiritual covering.  Most certainly we recognize that the Lord Jesus solely is the Head of His Church. He sovereignly governs over it; thus we make no pretense to rule over any facet of His Body.   Rather, the Lord has shown us that we are called to serve His Church through the impartation of sound doctrine, paternal counseling, and a meek example of servanthood.

Thus it is understood that…

• Each local church maintains their autonomy of leadership and administration.
  Oasis Ministry does not seek to form an organization or alliance of churches, nor seek to profit in any way from local churches.
  
  
• Our visits to local areas are based on invitations that are extended by pastors and local church leaders.
  The ministers and servants who represent Oasis Ministry travel to different regions to exhort, encourage and admonish based on the whole counsel of God. Each locality sets forth an agenda of meetings and/or retreats. Based on Matthew 10:8, all agendas should be fully non-profit, so as not to sell the Word of God.
  
  
• We welcome pastors and leaders to participate in special leadership conferences and seminars for further equipping in the ministry.
  Our doors are always open for housing of leaders during which time ministers can be refreshed and encouraged in the work of ministry.
